1969 – Neil Armstrong becomes the first man to set foot on the moon. Woodstock rocks the establishment. And two Australian surfers make their dream come true: Alan Green and John Law invent new board shorts made of light, quick-drying material and thus finance their passion – the search for the perfect wave. Quiksilver was born. The rest is history.
